Maryam is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for holistic health; the natural world, and the healing mechanisms provided therein. She is also a licensed massage therapist since 2005 and specializes in mind-body treatment approaches. She founded Pura Vida Psychiatry in response to a deep need she observed in the community for connection and communion with a higher power as well as reconnection to one's higher-self, intuition, and innate healing capabilities.
